I need a 20K unsecured loan. I have a perfect credit history and need to know the best place to apply ?

I think good advice would start by asking how much you NEED the loan - and if it's for something really essential like an operation, whether you mightn't be better to (for instance) extend your mortgage, which would certainly be cheaper.





If you ask a bank or building society, they're going to try to sell you something. If you ask a financial adviser, make sure he's completely independent (ie he should be charging you for the advice).

The most important question is do I need it? Can I wait and save it up?


If you can't put enough money aside to save it up then you can't afford to pay the loan.
