Thanks!CANON xti - product advice and where to get best price?
B%26amp;H Photo offers just the XTi body in silver or black, w/lens or even kit of different sizes. B%26amp;H has some of the lowest prices, low S%26amp;H fees, Professional staff, consumer product reviews and even some product demos.

I have been doing business with them for 25+ years, a great place to shop online or a toll-free call.

As a heads-up, the first lens I got with my Canon XTi was from TAMRON, there 18-250 f/3.5 Marco zoom (35mm equvi. 28-400 w/1.6 magnification from the EOS series). That lens is on my (black) XTi body 90% of the time, an awesome almost one lens does all.CANON xti - product advice and where to get best price?
Hey....I owned the XTi and honestly didn't like it. It still felt a little to small with the grip. It kind of feels 'toy' like...but still DSLR weight. I also owned the XT and the original Digital Rebel.

I was slightly disappointed with Canon in the fact that my lenses from my Digital Rebel will not fit my XT and XTI....and all these cameras are within the Rebel family.

I still have my Digital Rebel and I will NOT part with it.

My XTi and XT have been sold and I bought a Nikon D80.

I would suggest checking the following for kit prices...they always do a nice job with their reviews and usually their associated partners have excellent prices..

Hope this helps you.
The only drawback I found when I've used it was its plastic case and uneven weight distribution if you have a large lens attached.

Otherwise it has an amazing feature set for a consumer-level dSLR.
If you go to CNet.com you will find professional reviews, as well as reviews from people who own the camera. You will also see the best places to buy online and their current prices. It is a great entry-level dSLR, but Nikon and even Sony make good cameras, also.

I have 3 original Rebels, a D30, a D60, a 10D, a 20D, 2 30Ds, a 40D, a Rebel XT and 2 Rebel XTis, or at least my department does, and the only lens that has never worked from older cameras to the new ones is a Sigma Macro. Lenses from the original Rebel (of which none were made specifically for it), work fine on the new Rebel, albeit, with a 1.6 magnification of angle of view. It is true that the lenses made specifically for the new digital Canon SLRs, are not backward compatible, as they fit closer to the APS-sized sensor. They fit the new Canon lineup from the 20D on to the newest prosumer cameras. (The 10D came out before the dedicated lenses, including the kit lens you mention.)
I don't have one. Is it a digital Camera?
